Tama two lines vase by Onora Dimensions: D 45 x H 68 cm Materials: Clay Inspired in the traditional large format vessels used to store water, grains or prepare food, our playful reinterpretation of Mixe pottery plays homage to this region’s 21 mountains tops and its inhabitants’ rich connection to music. Hand molded and fired in an open wood burning fire, this decorative recalls the mouths of brass instruments typically played day and night throughout the Sierra Mixe where music is deeply connected to the cultural and historical identity of its inhabitants. We are a Mexican brand dedicated to the creation of high end, hand crafted textiles and home accessories in collaboration with Mexican artisans. ONORA seeks to strike a balance between tradition and contemporary trends.
