Unda Vase by Imperfettolab

About the Item

Unda vase by Imperfettolab Designer: Verter Turroni 2018 Dimensions: D 40 x H 35 cm Materials: Fibreglass Vase in fibreglass. Imperfetto Lab Who we are ? We are a family. Verter Turroni, Emanuela Ravelli and our children Elia, Margherita and Eusebio. All together, we are separate parts and their expansion. The laboratory is in the care of Verter. From the sketch on paper he mixes materials, shapes and colours to the definition of the object. His intuitive and visionary research is performed with the complicity, recognition and practical support of his brother Erich. Emanuela is the voice of a vivid and silent work. She connects Imperfettolab with the other and with the rest of the world, respecting its nature and identity. She watches over its wholeness and authenticity. The playful spirit is entrusted to our children. They are the ones who test our works, certify their durability, functionality and enjoyment. We believe it is their expression, after all, that validates and makes our work universal. Since 1992, our thoughts and actions have moved, grown and taken shape in the land of Romagna. Between hills of cherry and olive trees, cultivated plains and piles of recyclable steel and iron. In between, the ancient Roman road via Emilia. A contrasting and mutating landscape that reflects in our furnishing sculptures. Ours is an open space, the times of art and life seamlessly merge.

  • Hestia Vase by Chaaban
    By CHAABAN
    Located in Dubai, DU
"Hestia" Vase - solid bronze vase with red / amber bronze patina - cast from solid Bronze, the "Hestia" Vase is a functional and sculptural work. Inspired by silhouettes found in nature, CHAABAN sought to create a line of unique bronzewares and premium home furnishings. Our collection has been hand-crafted with a specific focus on capturing the details seen in branches, trunks, and barks. Natural edges, grains, splits, and cracks are interpreted and preserved using traditional bronze casting methods, successfully blending art and function with the permanence of bronze. Introduced to the world of design in 2016, Brian Chaaban has spent the past few years curating a collection of premium bronzewares. Pulling inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding his hometown of Los Angeles, his self-titled collection “CHAABAN” focuses on forms, shapes, and details found in nature. “I have always been drawn to the outdoors– whether it be through hiking trails or swimming in the ocean, there is such an indescribably tranquil energy about our natural world.” – Brian Capturing and preserving this natural energy has been the ethos behind each piece in our bronze line, most of which begin from a hand-carved block of wood. Upon perfecting the original model, the piece finds its following form when cast in solid bronze, using a nearly 6000-year-old method known as lost wax casting. Once cast, we hand-patinate each piece until it is then ready to be released into the world for adornment. Artistic inspiration for the collection is drawn from the raw and brutalist styles of Paul Evans, and Harry Balmer as well as the modernism sculptures...
