Vintage Tall and Colorful Vintage Italian Sculpture in Murano Glass
About the Item
Murano, Venice, the Carnival, the buildings. everything is colour in the venetian lagoon, and this vase clearly is no exception! Despite having a massive (yet very thin & tall) body in clear "cristallo" glass, all its apertures are gracefully edged by vibrantly coloured glass inlays.
Around the piece, five deep holes allow for the insertion of single flowers - but are just as beautiful as decorative touches if the sculpture is kept empty, as a decorative piece.
It is a big and massive sculptural piece that will bring a touch of refinement to any bookcase, coffetable or shelf where it will be placed. It is preserved in very good condition, has no damages or cracks and only some minor scratches - totally expectable on a piece likely crafted some sixty years ago.
