Willem Brouwer Dutch Art Deco Streak Glazed Art Pottery Vase

About the Item

A large and attractive Dutch Art Deco vase decorated in pink streaked glazes by Willem Brouwer and made between 1920 and 1930. The vase is made in terracotta clay and is of rounded bulbous shape with an angled and shaped funnel top with a narrow everted rim. The vase is hand decorated in streaked pink colors applied over an almond colored ground. The vase has impressed makers marks to the base and is numbered 394. In good condition.
