Antique Brass Tray with Arabic Koranic Calligraphy Writing. Rectangular shape large brass tray with Islamic Koranic calligraphy writing and foliates patterns in the center. Middle Eastern brass tray, Islamic Arabic metal artwork. The large brass tray is very beautiful and unusual hand engraved and inlaid with silver and copper and black compound. This kind of Islamic metal Artwork is very rare to find. Could be use as a Moroccan decorative platter, or hang on the wall. Metal rectangular polished brass tray origin is Middle Eastern, Egyptian, Syrian or Persian. The center of the tray writing reads as follow: "lā ʾilāha ʾillā -llāh Muḥamad rasūlu -llāh " It is the Islamic Shahada which means : "I testify There is no deity but God and Muhammad is his Messenger ."
