The International Bartenders Association’s 1963 International Cocktail Competition was held on Wednesday, November 12th, at the Grand Hotel Billia in the picturesque town of St. Vincent in the Aosta valley in the Italian Alps, where, that same year, the Grolle d’Oro, one of the oldest awards for Italian cinema, was awarded to Frederico Fellini for his classic film 8½, staring Marcello Mastroianni.
This superb shaker, among the rarest, most novel, and decorative shakers of the Art Deco era, is a must have for the serious collector.
