19th Century German Hammered Copper Beer Tankards, Can Stein about 1870s

About the Item

Beautiful antique 18th century German Beer Tankards. Perfect for decoration in your old country kitchen or Bar. The piece is in good used vintage condition with patina and a view minor dents. Sealed inside with tin. The patina only adds to its beauty. Ou of an old collection, it is shown in the standard work Book “OLD COPPER” by Rolf Arnold Müller (ISBN 978-3-033-08690-6) on page 315. Found at an estate sale in Nuremberg, Germany. A nice addition to your country farm house kitchen, bar or living room.

    Gray glazed stoneware beer stein with a curved ceramic handle with a domed pewter lid with a pewter thumb-lift. Transfer printed in blue is a scene of a soldier, a religious Jew, scales on a table, and a fox.
