Antique Hand Carved circa 1880 Black Forest Bear Musical Drinks Decanter Glasses

We are delighted to offer for sale this sublime original circa 1880 Black Forest Bear Musical drinks decanter A good looking and decorative piece, it is hand carved from black forest wood which is a very dark timber as the trees are all very close to each other so no light gets in. The base is musical however I don't have the key so it is untested, it takes a standard square key The condition is good used and antique, there maybe the odd imperfections like some small timber losses, the decanter top isn't present, there are five glasses Dimensions Height:- 30.5cm bear along, including decanter 38.5cm Width:- 21cm Depth: 12cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements, please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
