Fratelli Toso Murano Yellow Blue a Canne Ribbons Italian Art Glass Bottle Vase
About the Item
Beautiful Murano hand blown yellow and blue "A Canne" transparent ribbons Italian art glass bottle / flower vase. Documented to the Fratelli Toso company, with tall neck and bulbous bottom shape. The piece looks green, but that is because of an optical illusion. The blue and yellow ribbons that create the vase are transparent, the closeness to each other and the fact you can look through both, mix the colors creating the green look. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, console table or kitchen island. Mid-century era. Measures: 12 7/8" tall x 6 1/8" wide.
For accuracy, the polished rim has some little bites to the inside edge of the glass. See detail photo showing the mouth of the vase.
