Rare French all sterling silver 18-karat gold liquor cups 12 pieces with tray box Empire. Head of Minerve 1st titre on the liquor cups and on the tray for 950/1000 French sterling silver vermeil guarantee. The quality of the gold used to recover sterling silver is a minimum of 750 mils (18-karat). A rare French sterling silver liquor set 13 pieces, its a production of sterling silver luxury, all pieces at the fabulous Empire pattern with palmettes and laurel wreaths. This complete set is with its original case with with its protective cushion and compartments for each piece. The set includes a sterling silver tray and twelve sterling silver liquor cups. Monograms "MB" on the tray. No monograms on the liquor cups and original case. Prestigious silversmith: Gaston Bardies. 13 rue des Fontaines, Paris. Was active from July 23, 1897 to June 2, 1914. Measures: 1"5 (3.8 cm) liquor cups height. 8"5 x 6"9 (21.5 cm x 17.5 cm) tray. Weight: 551 grams. Total weight with original box: 1409 grams. The condition is very good to excellent for this set. Micro-scratches from normal use. A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing. The original case is in very good condition except that it lacks the hook to facilitate opening.
