A beautiful set of seven (7) cocktail decanter and cocktail rocks glasses, Mid-Century Modern period, by Culver Ltd., circa 1960s, Brooklyn, New York, USA. Set consists of one (1) cocktail mixer/decanter/carafe with six (6) coordinating cocktail rocks' glasses, a seven (7) piece set all with Moroccan style relief in 22-kt gold foil over clear/transparent glass. With markers' mark as shown in last two images. A great set for cocktails, collecting, display, entertaining, or any bar, bar cart, etc.

About Culver:
Founded in Brooklyn, NY in 1939, Culver Ltd. (aka Culver Glass) was an American glass manufacturer. The company produced over 75 glassware patterns and is best known for its mid-century designs. Most of its glassware patterns feature a 22k gold foil overlay. The glassware was lavish and opulent cocktail-ware. Culver started the application of 22-karat gold to their glassware, a super-heated, roll-on process of gold, a process that remains a secret today. The designs ranged from geometric patterns and abstract motifs to nature-inspired themes like florals and animals. Glasses were commonly used for entertaining and special occasions, and they became particularly popular during the mid-century modern era. The company stopped producing its gold overlay pieces in the late 1980s and was sold to Moderne Glass Company in the mid-1990s. Because of Culver's unique designs and craftsmanship, their vintage glasses are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century glassware. Admired for their quality, attention to detail, and gold global design aesthetic.
