James Gagnon Studio Craft Pewter and Teak Decanter Set
About the Item
James Gagnon Studio Craft Pewter accessories, American, circa 1970s-1980s. Gagnon's work is hard to find as it was all handcrafted by the artist in limited production. He received many accolades in his day. See the photo below where his work was featured in the New York Times. The pieces available are:
1) Pewter and Teak Decanter Set. Signed and dated 1979. The larger decanter measures 8.5" H x 7" W. The smaller decanter measures 6.5" H x 6.5" W. The tray measures 25.25" L x 10" W. The decanter set is priced at $1500.
2) Pewter vase, seen in last photos. It is similar to a design that Gagnon made for First Lady Nancy Reagan in 1983. See last detail photo. The vase measures 9.75" height x 3.5" width. It is priced at $1500.
