About the Item

This set of glassware in its original box is an extremely rare find. Hand crafted by famed Scandinavian glass artist Kaj Franck, this set includes the pitcher and 10 hand blown glasses. The box also includes the original paperwork. This is a true treasure. Kaj Franck (Finnish, 1911-1989) for Nuutajarvi, Notsjo, Finland. Mid-century Modern glass party cocktail set including one pitcher and 10 glasses in five colors, two of each color - gray, green, teal, purple, and red, ca. 1954. With a carrying case decorated throughout with penguins. The glasses in a 'kartio' shape, which is Finnish for cone. With the original paper insert.

    No chips or scratches. Glasses and pitcher are in very good condition. The box is in decent condition considering it's age. There is wear to the box.
