Karaffe Modell „Simulata“ entworfen von Massimo Iosa Ghini für die Design Gallery Milano um 1989, hergestellt von Argenteria Merano in Italien aus versilbertem Alpaka. Modell vermutlich aus einer Vorserie, später ausgestellt bei der Triennale di Milano, 2013 (siehe Fotonachweis).
Provenienz: Privatsammlung Peter Teichgräber Wien, zuvor in der Ausstellung „Massimo Iosa Ghini Wien“ vom 30. September- 25. Oktober 1989 bei Prodomo (siehe Fotonachweis Katalog)

Über Massimo Iosa Ghini:
Massimo Iosa Ghini erwirbt sein Diplom am Politecnico in Mailand. Er ist einer der einflussreichsten italienischen Architekten und Designer auf internationaler Ebene. Seit 1985 gehört er zur Avantgarde in Architektur und Design in Italien: er gründet die kulturelle Bewegung Bolidismo und ist Mitglied der Gruppe Memphis von Ettore Sottsass. Seit 1989 arbeitet er auch auf internationaler Ebene; im gleichen Jahr hat er seine erste Ausstellung an der Inspiration Gallery im Axis Building in Tokio und in Osaka werden ihm die Schlüssel der Stadt überreicht. 1990 eröffnet er Iosa Ghini Associati, das heute in Mailand, Bologna, Moskau und Miami tätig ist und Projekte für Großkonzerne und internationale Developer entwickelt. Er beschäftigt sich mit der Planung von Wohn- und Geschäftsbauten, Museen, kulturellen Installationen, der Planung von Räumen und Strukturen für den öffentlichen Verkehr, sowie mit dem Design für Einzelhandelsketten in aller Welt. Viele seiner Produkte finden sich in internationalen Museen und Privatsammlungen und erhielten zahlreiche Preise und Anerkennungen, wie beispielsweise Roscoe Award, USA, Compasso D’Oro ADI, Good Design Award des Chicago Athenaeum, IAI Green Design Award, Cina, iF Product Design Award und Red Dot Award, Deutschland. 2013 widmete ihm die Triennale Mailand eine gesamte Anthologie seiner 30jährigen beruflichen Karriere; 2015 verlieh ihm die Stiftung Marconi und das Marconi Institute for Creativity den Marconi-Preis für Kreativität als Anerkennung für seine gestalterischen Leistungen.
