Midcentury Purple Art Glass Decanter by Jacob E. Bang for Holmegaar

A rare purple - dark violet art glass decanter catalogued as 'No Name, Art Glass' in the Holmegaard Catalogue from 1958. It was designed by Jacob Eiler Bang and hand-blown at Holmegaard in Denmark during the late 1950s. Jacob Bang was the kid bother of the iconic ceramist Arne Bang.
