Mocha Pearlware Large Earthworm Tankard

About the Item

Mocha Pearlware Large Earthworm Tankard, Circa 1800 The large pearlware Mocha tankard is decorated with a looping tri-color earthworm design around the center on an ochre-colored ground. The tankard has a wide flaring foot and three groupings of white and brown bands encircling the center. Towards the top of the tankard is a molded series of bands painted in green. The loop handle has simple leaf terminals at each end. Dimensions: 6 1/8 inches high x 6 1/8 inches wide x 4 1/4-inch diameter. (Ref: NY10452-nirr)
