About the Item
Two-piece set of modern high-polished copper serving spoons. Fabricated in rich copper and then finished by hand in his Brooklyn, NY studio, these pieces are the creation of silversmith and jewelry designer Heath Wagoner under HW. Studio. Designed for a hearty salad or an elegant touch to a family-style pasta, these mirror-finish copper serving spoons will pair perfectly with any handmade ceramics.
Each piece is hand fabricated from copper sheets. The basins are domed and then soldered to the forged handles. After each piece is brought to a mirror finish. The set consists of two spoons. Given the nature of handmade objects, no two pieces or sets are truly identical.
HW. Studio's work is meant to re-invigorate modern dining while employing jewelry techniques and craft to create objects that are jewelry for dining and for the table.

HW. Studio
HW. Studio is the creation of silversmith and jewelry designer Heath Wagoner. Crafted by hand in his Brooklyn, NY studio each piece is made using traditional jewelry techniques. Heath's collection is compromised of brass and silver flatware, objects, and the occasional piece of jewelry. The flatware is comprised of modern pieces whose form and function are the result of historical research and applied industrial design. The objects are often inspired by food waste such as Heath's sardine tins. Heath's jewelry is inspired by food and the sea often mimicking containers, utensils, or fare and incorporating precious materials such as gold and pearls. Blurring the lines between jewelry and tableware, Heath's work is meant to be worn or used during dining.
