Set of 12 "Thai Princess" Mid-Century Cocktail Glasses
About the Item
A set of 12 "Thai Princess" cocktail glasses by vintage company Culver Glass Co. are in excellent original condition. The princess is done in a beige color on Chinese red ground. Top has light gold gilt rim. Perfect for vodka/mixed drinks, iced tea, etc. More pieces also available. We have a huge collection of vintage barware in our North Palm Springs showroom. Dozens of sets in many patterns.
Founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1939, Culver Industries is the premier purveyor of decorated glassware for retail establishments. The original vintage 22 karat gold patterns of Culver are extensive - from gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, Egyptian and Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others. The gilded Moroccan-style trellis and raised emerald green diamonds of the Valencia pattern (shown above) became their most popular pattern in cocktail ware. These vintage Culver designs are highly collectible and remain popular today.
