About the Item

An incredible set of 8 nesting bowls Planetarium, designed by Liliana Bonomi for Serafino Zani, the Planetarium set of 8 stainless steel nesting bowls Serafino Zani, Italy. This set is very hard to find and was part of the 2006 exhibit "Someone's in the Kitchen: Culinary Design Objects From the Collection" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This exquisite modernist set of eight nesting bowls named "Planetarium". Designed by Liliana Bonomi for Serafino Zani in Italy, can almost dual as a small sculpture or work of art. Made of durable stainless steel. Serafino Zani is located in the Alpine foothills north of Brescia. The Romans used to call this area the "Land of Metals". All products are handmade in a small workshop by traditional craftsmen. This wonderful line is both practical and incredibly pleasing for the eye. Polished stainless steel with a brass ring. In its original box with velvet bag, circa 1980s.
