21th Century Italian Sterlig Silver Gallery Tray on Feet
About the Item
Sterling silver octagonal rectangular shaped tray.
The edge is finely gallery worked.
An English border has been welded on the upper part to join the handwork and make the whole structure solid.
The inside of the tray is polished and without workmanship to make it shiny and to allow the gallery to mirror itself inside.
The tray rests on 4 cast feet so that it rises from the surface on which it is placed.
The two handles were made with the fusion technique and strongly welded to the edge of the tray. These allow the tray to be placed and subsequently lifted important weights contained in it, such as tea and coffee services or bottles with glasses.
Overall, the whole structure is very well balanced and proportionate.
