Large and stunning bowl carved in noble wood that can also be used as a centerpiece, designer by Jean Dobré for Tropic-Art. It keeps the manufacturer's mark on the bottom.
Tropic-Art was a big company that produced utilitarian serving pieces with minimalist design in Brazilian noble woods in the mid-20th century. Nowadays their pieces are desired by collectors.
