Large Antique Moser Pink Opaline Glass Epergne Centerpiece, 19th Century
About the Item
This exceptional centerpiece, crafted in the 19th century by the renowned Moser glassware manufacture, is a stunning display of luxury and craftsmanship. Made from elegant pink opaline glass, with intricate gold and silver decoration. The centerpiece is designed to be disassembled into two pieces, with a flared vase that is removable from the bowl. Both the vase and bowl are adorned with striking wavy edges.
The inner side of the bowl is richly hand-painted with gold and silver, depicting an exquisite scene of birds among leaves and vegetation. Matching silver and gold decoration can be found on the vase, applied to both its outer and inner surfaces, creating a harmonious design throughout.
The piece is elevated by a gilded, hand-engraved bronze base, adding an extra layer of opulence to this already luxurious work of art.
