Fantastic Art Nouveau silver centerpiece with glass bowl from the period in Austria around 1895. The artfully shaped base, elaborately made of 276,3 gramm solid silver, shows an outstanding design with impressive floral/ organic elements. The wide glass bowl shows great looking engraved fern pattern and is secured by a unique silver decor screw. A truly eye-catching piece of an early Art Nouveau ssilver centerpiece from the end of the 19th century, hallmarked with the famous Austrian "Diana head" silver mark and the stamp of the silversmith "MG" on the outer edge of the base.
