About the Item
An estate treasure, a gorgeous Victorian era bright cut silver plated bride's basket with a pattern of birds and foliage, aesthetic period, late 1910s. Condition is not perfect, though really not terrible for a piece of this age, about 100 years old. There's tarnish and some silver wear, and scratching to the bowl. Shape is slightly out, I did not attempt to straighten it at all. A nice addition on your table or just as a center piece. Found at an estate sale in Vienna, Austria.
