An early modernist earthenware vase. Designed by Vicke Lindstrand, for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden, 1940s. Upsala-Ekeby AB was a porcelain, tile, brick, and glass company founded in 1886 in Uppsala, Sweden. Other designers of the period include Ettore Sottsass, Carl Harry Stålhane, Lisa Larsson, Axel Salto, and Arne Bang.
