19th C English New Hall Hand Painted Teapot & Trivet, Chinese Export Style

About the Item

19th C English New Hall Hand Painted Teapot & Trivet, Chinese Export Style This is a rare and exquisite surviving pair of early 19th-century English porcelain tea articles, featuring a teapot and a matching porcelain teapot stand or trivet. Both pieces are elegantly decorated with beautiful Chinese export style floral vignettes and garlands, typical of the artistry and craftsmanship of the time. The teapot, with its distinctive shape number 449, stands at approximately 10 inches wide, 7.75 inches high, and 5 inches deep. It exudes charm and sophistication, making it a remarkable addition to any collection or display. Accompanying the teapot is a gracefully shaped oval trivet, numbered 677. Measuring approximately 7 inches wide and 5.75 inches deep, the trivet complements the teapot's design, completing the set's harmonious visual appeal. Please note that the trivet exhibits some minor staining or impurities to the glaze, which is typical for antique porcelain pieces of this age. Despite this, the set remains a highly desirable acquisition.
