This is an antique decorative cherub jardiniere. An English, ceramic circular planter with putti decor by Bretby, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. Graced with jovial character and of generous proportion Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Light cream hues to the glazed ceramic, lightly aged and free of loss Bold and charming cherubs adorn the circumference in quality relief form Painted interior in dark chestnut brown, with a glaze finish Maker's mark to base for Bretby with the pattern number 2354 K This is a fascinating antique decorative jardiniere, adorned with bold cherub figures in relief. Ideal as decorative interest or for planting. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
