A bowl in ceramic with handmade silver inlay from the 1930s Argenta collection made by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg, signature underneath.
The now iconic argenta stoneware collection, with its green glaze and silver decoration, is one of Wilhelm Kåge's most recognizable designs. Designed in the late 1920s, it was first shown at the stockholm exhibition in 1930 and was subsequently produced by Gustavsberg, where the designer was artistic director in the 1930s and 1940s.
