Ceramic Equestrian Canine Couple


Two Italian ceramic dogs; dressed as an equestrian couple from the late 19th century. The shorter, appearing to be a foxhound 'whipper-in': 20 1/4 inches tall by 8 inch diameter; bearing the mark "Made in Italy". The taller, a bulldog gentleman 'hill-topper': 24 1/2 inches tall by 11 1/4 inches diameter; bearing the marking "Palladin Made in Italy".
