Chanfro Striped Fruit Juicer
About the Item
The Chanfro Juicer was made to start the day with a very fresh juice squeezed with your own hands, in contact with the fruit, feeling its texture and smell as its juice runs through its grooves.
- Materials and finishes: Terracotta fired at high temperature with white stripes and blazed interior.
The Chanfro Series arises from the conflict between industrial design and craftsmanship. The creative process and technology employed by design along with manual production techniques that generate unique results, placing modern aesthetics with its simplicity and sophistication together with red terracotta, so trivialized in brazilian culture, for questioning about the generation of value and stigmas related to the material. All products in the Chanfro Series were developed in 3D software and materialized through 3D printing, both for prototyping and for making plaster molds for the reproduction of the pieces and subsequent manual finishing.
