The place settings are as follows:
Ten 9” Soups
Ten 8” Bread Plates
Twenty 9” Dinner Plates
Ten Coffee Cup & Ten Saucers
Ten Demitasse Cups & Ten Saucers
The service is hand decorated in a banded pattern on a cream ground. The bands are in pale blue and wine. The serving pieces are in the “Odelin” shape ca. 1932. The tea and demitasse cups are in the “conical” shape with open handles.
All pieces are marked in black “Clarice Cliff”. Most are also marked “Newport Pottery, England, Made in England”, some are marked “Royal Staffordshire Pottery, A.J. Wilkinson, Ltd, Honey Glaze”. Some pieces are additionally marked “Req. No. 748856”.
