About the Item
Elegant Goldscheider Art Deco ceramic figure of the 1930's:
Dancer with shoulder-length hair in a long, wide, gray skirt with floral decoration and a pink hem and matching bustier, looking to the right, leading her right leg forward and with her arm stretched to the side holding up the hem of the skirt, with her left hand leading a large fan of pink bird feathers beside the head.
On a black, slightly curved, oval flat base.
Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 - 1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920-1940.
Model 8363 was created circa 1938.
