Goldscheider Vienna Group, 'Pierrots' Three Children Walking, by Dakon, ca 1938

Three children walking side by side: in the middle a blond boy dressed as Pierrot with a pointed hat, arm in arm with two girls, one in a red tutu dress, the other in a blue dotted camisole with matching short harem pants and a bonnet. On a cream-colored, rectangular base with rounded corners, green painting on top and gray shading on the sides. Designer: STEPHAN DAKON (1904 - 1992) was one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
