Midcentury Charles and Alice Smith California Studio Pottery Tumbler
About the Item
A wonderful midcentury studio pottery tumbler from the 1940s-1950s by ceramicists, Charles and Alice Smith of California. Decorated with a series of figures carved into the sides of the mug. Finished in a matte black glaze with a glossy green glaze at the rim and interior. Signed "Chalice" on the base.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. In good vintage condition showing light age appropriate wear. Some small scuffs and a small fleabite at the rim - please see close up pictures. A few small stains to the bottom of the interior. No other damage.
