Scheurich always used white clay, the color of which is visible on the bottom edge of the vase. This piece is signed W.GERMANY and the number indicating the model and height of the vase. It also has an original label with the name of the company. The Scheurich company was founded in 1928 by Scheuri cousins, but it was not until 1948 that it began producing home ceramics.
