Set for two butter box dish & two plates, fish, Art Nouveau ceramic 1910 Austria

About the Item

Wonderful two-person set, consisting of a butter dish and two plates. The set is made of ceramic, glazed and hand painted, of the Art Nouveau period, made around 1910, in Austria. The set is exceptionally beautifully designed, everything has a water lily pond decor, even fishes can be seen. The butter dish has a high lid and a wide rim with floral decoration, the handle at the top is a water lily flower. The two plates are decorated all over with water lily leaves and flowers, they are made with holes to achieve even more plasticity. Measurements approx.: butterbox height 4,13 in - 10,5 cm, width 8,66 in - 22 cm, depth 5,91 in - 15 cm, plates each: height 0,59 in - 1,5 cm, diameter 7,28 in - 18,5 cm, The very rare set is designed in a special floral Art Nouveau style and the colors include pink, turquoise and green tones, a really nice eyecatcher for your table.
