Vintage French HB Majolica Pottery Red Green Cream Clogs Salt & Pepper Holder

A charming handcrafted decorative salt and pepper holder in the shape of traditional Breton sabot clogs, mid-20th century French pottery majolica, in extremely good condition, signed HB Caen known for this distinctive faience pottery, characterized by hand enameling. The decoration with finely hand-painted leaves and flowers is distinguished by subtle colors in dark green, burgundy red, golden yellow, and blue accents over the nicely turned handle that combines cuteness with functionality. A charming conversational piece on any dining table.
