    A superb antique 18th-Century Dutch Delft faience charger with the 'Peacock' pattern, circa 1750. Maker's mark on reverse: MQ/J for Quirinus Mesch. This lovely large 13.8" plate has a hand painted peacock design in cobalt blue and white with a golden yellow rim. It's in excellent condition for its age with colors that are still amazingly vibrant and fresh.
