A Midcentury earthenware faience oval serving bowl, signed HenRiot Quimper, France, No. 459 (bis)
The center shows a femme de la campagne, the French Breton region woman standing between two shrubs wearing the traditional dress and holding a flower. A wide sunshine yellow border over three concentric cobalt blue lines decorates a 1″ wide flat rim.
In good vintage condition. Overall crazing and areas of glaze loss on the verso.
