Set of 8, Raphael Weill Hand Enameled "Important Figures" Porcelain Plates 9"

About the Item

French origin, late 19th century and retailed by the great Raphael Weill & Company San Francisco. Each plate is meticulously hand enameled with gold, purple, blue and other polychromed motifs. With three important female figure windows and three musical instrument windows that are accented with gold scroll work to the borders and surrounded by floral scroll and vines. Marked accordingly to verso.
