Set of 12 Antique Cranberry Red and Clear Crystal Engraved Cordial Wine Glasses

About the Item

A very fine set of 12 antique English cranberry cordial or sherry wine glasses. Each has a clear, faceted stem and a red bowl with strawberry field and geometric wheel cut bands. In addition, ten of the stems have an engraved monogram. (Perhaps an F or J). We believe that these stems are quite likely English and Webb, Stevens & Williams, or Stourbridge. They date to the 19th century. The bases are unmarked. Perfect for your Sherry or Port (or any beloved Tipple for that matter)! Measurements: Height ca. 4 3/4 in. Diameter ca. 2 1/2 in. Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. One stem has a small flake. Another has a fleabite. Otherwise, there is some fine fritting to a few edges of some facets of the stems, some fine and light surface scratches here & there and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
