Circa 1920 Set of 6 Arts & Crafts White Wine Goblets by Moser

Set of 6 white wine goblets by Moser, Karlsbad, Bohemia, Arts & Crafts design, c.1920. Three of amethyst glass & 3 of emerald glass, each with intricate acid etched gilt bands of grape festoons, called "oroplastique", first developed by Val Saint Lambert. Hand blown & cut. Signed on one: "Moser, Karlsbad". Minute nibbles & tiny scuff. Some polishing wear. 6 7/8" h., 3 1/4" dia. bases, 2 3/4" dia. bowls.     These 6 wine goblets have a classical, elegant, harmonious shape. They are part of the Copenhagen drinking set that represents the Czech Republic during all the important meetings of the President of the Czech Republic and of the Czech Embassies all-over the world (Moser has become the exclusive supplier of the drinking sets for the Czech Embassies in the world in 1999) They are hand blown and made of ecologically friendly lead-free crystal.
