Etched Glass Lady's Leg Bar Set

About the Item

The form of a lady's leg entices one to imbibe with this etched glass cocktail set known as the “Shake a Leg” shaker. Made by the West Virginia Specialty Glass Co. with silverplate parts by Derby Shelton Silver Co. of Connecticut, the shaker is crafted in wonderful detail from the curved, Cuban heel of her dancing shoe to the working buckles on the engraved silver straps. It is finished with a silverplate lid with a strainer and air spout for easy pouring of one's cocktail of choice. This shaker comes with five matching etched glasses. Circa 1937 Lid marked "Derby Shelton Silver Co. Shelton Conn. / Pat 2091604" Shaker: 3 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep x 15 1/4" high.
