Exceptional 12 Piece American Brilliant Cut Glass Dinner / Dessert Service

About the Item

Likely American, possibly Irish. 19th Century. This is absolutely exceptional set of cut glass in an unidentified pattern. The 12-piece set includes nine 10.125" dinner plates, one 9" plate, a 10.5" serving platter or under tray that shows stunningly underneath the single compote. Each piece features a 10 pear pointed diamond edge with cross stitching detail to each and separated by 3-prong fan cuts. The interior has a matched detailed separated with a star pattern cut to the center. Pieces appear to be unmarked.
