This is a large antique display dome. An English, glass taxidermy or collectable showcase, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880. Of superb proportion and showcase clarity Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Glass dome offers bright optics and great condition throughout Raised upon an ebonised pine base with crimson velvet baize Internal diameter of 21.5cm (8.5") and display height of 48cm (19") Ideal for medium sized taxidermy studies, fine ornaments or decorative displays This quality antique display dome offers a large space for the taxidermy enthusiast or collector of delicate pieces to showcase their pride and joy.
