Heading : Large Peter Layton glass bowl Date : c2000 Origin : London, England Bowl Features : A sculptural piece. Crimped wave like rim in sunset orange graduating to clear and crimson with a black and marbled base. Marks : Signed Anthony Stern to base Type : Lead Size : 61.2x31.8cm 23.8cm height Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks Restoration : None Weight : 7415 grams Anthony Stern 1944-2022. What a life! Originally from cambridge he co-exhibited his paintings with Sid Barrett ( Pink Floyd) in 1962. He trasitioned to experimental film making backed by the sound tracks of Pink Floyd. By the late 1960s he was expressing his artistic flair in glassware.
