Here is a beautiful Venetian yellow glass swan sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Cenedese, signed to base. Produced in the Venetian scavo technique, which means "dug up" or "excavation", and is intended to imitate the textured finish found on ancient artifacts found in archaeological excavations.
