This is a delightful antique preserving pan. An English, heavy brass jam cooking pot, dating to the late Georgian period, circa 1800.
Beautifully weathered pan of pleasing weight at 5.5kg (12.1lb)
Displaying a desirable aged patina
Brass offers wonderful tarnish from years of gentle polishing
Fixed iron loop handle bound with rivets to the body
Light golden tones to the polished interior
This is a desirable antique preserving pan, with great patination and as useful today as it was over 200 years ago. Delivered polished and ready for the kitchen or display.
