Brass Étagère-Plate Display Stand
About the Item
Authentic and charming vintage French étagère / plate rondel stand, which in its heyday stood in a brasserie / bistro in the gourmet city of Lyon. A piece of beautifully executed craftsmanship, made of brass and dating from circa 1900.
The stand has been loaded with plates, so that the waiters just had to grab one when it was time to lay tables for a lunch or dinner guest in the restaurant.
Just the thing for you who are about to open a restaurant and want an atmospheric prop.
Would also be gorgeous to display textiles and jewellery.
