19th Century Ridgway Drabware Jug

About the Item

Early 19th century drab ware pitcher attributed to W. Ridgway & Co. Hanley. This is a wonderful wine jug with the most wonderfully and crisply relieved decoration with Bacchus and grape leaves, vines, and grapes. The handle is spectacularly molded with a figure of Bacchus as well. It is truly a work of art. This would make a wonderful presentation on any table.
